After 4 years, she wrote the essay

“It’s been on my to-do list to write this essay for two years…maybe three. Actually: four! And I finally did it!”

That’s what my client Laurel shared on last week’s kick-off call for the Mighty Forces fall cohort, a huge smile on her face.

The essay was (is) live, as part of her brand-new Substack, The Engineer’s Daughter. Laurel is a passionate conservationist who has a track record of fostering collaboration between unlikely allies. In her Substack, she wrestles with the complexity of having a father who both instilled a love of nature, and built dams that harmed nature; this narrative frame sets her up to explore the larger need for successful conservation efforts to hold and engage with similar complexities.'

Immediately after Laurel hit “publish,” she received an invitation to speak on a panel about these very themes.

This was the energy she wanted more of in her life, and it was already happening.

Another cohort member, Lisa, has been telling me for weeks how much started to shift for her the moment she signed up. Same for yet another member.

I want to say to you a version of what they’ve all said to me: When we make a decision and commit to something, for real, things start to shift for us.

It goes back to the quote that inspired my company’s name: “Be bold and mighty forces will come to your aid” (words often attributed to Goethe, but many question that — but whoever said it, it’s wise).

Before the kick-off call last week, I was buzzing with excitement; literally, I had to do grounding exercises to center my energy. Afterwards, I was glowing with contentment. There is nothing like bringing wonderful people together to do the things that matter to them most. I watched them immediately become a whole that is greater than the sum of its (very amazing) parts.

We're doing this, folks. I cannot wait to see what this group creates, together.

I want you to know:

  • My next cohort runs January-February 2027 (after that, the next one will be October-November 2027).

  • I’m offering an early bird discount if you sign up for the January cohort by the end of this month: $500 off. Use code EARLYBIRD at checkout.

  • I’m also offering a 10% discount when you sign up with a friend (because that makes it more fun, and can make it easier to commit). Email me if you want to take advantage of this.

  • If you pair the friend discount with the early bird discount, that drops the price for you and a friend from $3,050 to $2,245

  • I offer a payment plan that lets you spread your investment out over three months. The bottom line, always, is that I want to make Mighty Forces accessible for you and sustainable for me. Because every single one of you is a mighty forces — and (say it with me), together, we are even mightier.

This is the other side of the not-Goethe(?) quote: Yes, be bold and mighty forces will come to your aid — and, sometimes, we need mighty forces (and Mighty Forces) to help us be bold in the first place.

Because that shit ain’t easy.

I’m rooting for you.
