There is a story running through your life
There is a story running through your life — a river beneath the surface that is the truth of who you are.
This morning, after I dropped my daughter off at school, I was listening to my friend's podcast, when suddenly, her story became clear. I felt it in every inch of me. And the words that told her story appeared as if out of nowhere.
This is my greatest superpower: To see people's stories and to give birth to them through language — and then to guide people through the journey of sharing who they are.
If you're thinking, "That's nice, for people with stories to share," please allow me to interrupt your response with this:
Everyone's story matters.
𝑬𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒚𝒐𝒏𝒆'𝒔.
Yours, even.
Theirs, even.
With Mighty Forces, I am trying to create a world where we recognize that everyone's story matters. Where we are mindful of the stories we claim and share and those we don't — the narratives to which we say, "No thank you," and then, "How about this one, instead?"
That is a world I want to live in.
You are a mighty force.
